How to Curl Your Hair with Socks

Are you tired of damaging your hair with hot tools trying to achieve glamorous curls? With this technique, you can create curls in your hair overnight, while skipping the heat damage.
You will need:
- socks. Long, clean socks will work the best. You can also use an old t-shirt and cut it into strips.
- a hair brush or comb.
- hairspray. (optional)
Step 1 - Preparing Your Hair
Begin with damp hair, but be sure it's not dripping wet. If your hair is too wet, it won't completely dry overnight. Brush all of the tangles out of your hair.
Step 2 - Rolling the Socks
Take an inch section of your hair. Place the sock about 1cm away from the end, and wrap your ends around the sock. Continue rolling the sock up the length of your hair, like you would with a roller. At the top, tie the two loose ends together. Repeat this process throughout your entire heat.
Step 3 - Let the Style Set
Leave the socks in until your hair is completely dry. You may want to sleep with the socks in your hair. If desired, lightly coat your hair with hairspray when your hair is still damp. Be careful not to use too much, or your hair could become hard or crunchy.
Step 4 - Remove the Socks
Untie the ends and carefully unroll the socks downward. Repeat this process until all of your hair has been unrolled.
Step 5 - Style and Spray
If your curls are too tight, you may comb through them with a wide-toothed comb or your fingers. Play with the curls until you are happy with the result, then spray a light coat of hairspray over your hair.

my firned does this and it looks amazing i asked her how she does it and she said in socks which i thought was wierd but obviously it works gonna try it clever idea good thinking ;) x
