Acer Aspire One A0A150 Netbook Review

By

If you are looking for a laptop that's affordable, convient to carry around, and totally dependable, your solution is the Acer Aspire One A0A150!

These laptops are great for students, people who travel often, or people on a low budget. Although the price is cheap, the laptop is certainly well made. With its high-quality 8.9-inch display, and small but very useable keyboard, the Acer Aspire One is perfect for anyone who doesn't want to carry around a huge laptop everywhere they go.

The laptop comes in a variety of colors: pink, white, blue, and brown.

For all of you technical people out there, who love facts, the Aspire One contains:

Intel Atom N270 1.6 GHz Processor

1024 MB DDR2 (PC2-4200) RAM

8.9-inch screen has a WSVGA resolution (1024 x 600).

512 KB L2 Cache, 533 MHz Front Bus speed

1 VGA monitor port

1 headphone jack and 1 microphone jack

Secure Digital (SD) card reader, also compatible with MultiMedia cards (MMCs)

Multi-in-one card reader supports SD, MMC, Memory Stick/Memory Stick PRO, and XD Picture Cards

802.11b/g WLAN, 10/100 LAN, 1.3 Megapixel webcam

The performance is great, from its quick boot-up time, to its quick response times after clicking a program. The graphics are also good for such a low price, for those who love gaming.

Pros

Inexpensive: The best product available, in my opinion, for such a great price.

Portable: This laptop can be brought anywhere, and is great for placing on your lap. (It isn't too big and uncomfortable)

Bright screen

Great performance

Energy saver: The smaller sizes uses alot less energy and power than a full sized.

Doesn't get too hot: Compared to other laptops, this one stays cool for alot longer, and when it does heat up, it won't get hot enough to burn you or anything in your home. Also, a cooling fan can be purchased.

Cons

Small battery life: The battery lasts 2-3 hours, but isn't bad in comparison to other laptops.

No CDROM: There is no CDROM built into the laptop. However, an external one can be purchased.

My experience with my Aspire One has been great, I've had it for over a year now, and I have had no trouble. I would strongly recommend this product to everyone looking for an afforable laptop.
